Necessary Kuriosity Music started when Alexandra Kouris and Hovig Nassanian wanted a platform to enable their creative projects to be showcased. It is the digital equivalent of a theatre open to all types of audiences. The belief that each idea is a thread and that all types of threads weave together to make a unique tapestry of creation, is the root of Necessary Kuriosity Music.
The two have worked on musical productions for many years through their roles as drama and music teachers at the Heritage Private School in Cyprus. Recent shows include Grease, The Wedding Singer, West Side Story and The Slipper & The Rose. The As You Wish project though, is their first joint collaboration in writing a complete album of original songs.
Their teamwork flows freely and their ideas fuse together without limitation to a specific art form. Art, like life needs to be fluid and spontaneous to be authentic and vivacious.
