This is second piano album in the Peaceful series by Hovig Nassanian, recording during the end of October 2021 and releasing on December 1, 2021.
The album features some original Christmas pieces as well as arrangements of some well-known and lesser known carols, including a French, Swedish, Armenian and Cypriot one.
Hovig recorded the album during the half-term school break at home, on the family’s Yamaha U3 upright piano. The recording process, while intimate and cosy, represented disruptions and challenges: the neighbourhood dogs barking or a noisy truck driving by, often at the very last bars of a successful take!
