This is the seventh piano solo release of 2024 by Hovig Nassanian. He explains: “This piece is dedicated to the city of Florence where we had a short family holiday recently. Despite the hot weather, we walked through the streets of the city and fell in love with the buildings, colours, atmosphere and people.
I composed this music to reflect our walks through the old town, each turn bringing with it a new collage of colour, art and history. The anticipation builds and the music crescendoes with it and ends when we suddenly reach our destination, the magnificent Duomo.”
